About Intumescent Seals
To bring a door’s fire rating up to an FD30, intumescent strips must be fitted, in conjunction with other fire door protection.

They therefore give a building’s occupants valuable time until help arrives.

Our intumescent seals are available to two different forms, surface mounted and rebated.

– Our line of intumescent seals come in all the common commercial sizes 10×4, 15×4, 20×4.

They can come with brushes if smoke protection is needed. Please see our Envirograf surface mounted fire and smoke seals, Envirograf standard fire and smoke seals and Pyroplex fire and smoke seals.

Equally, we have several fire only seals made by Pyroplex.

We also provide drop-down seals, which can be retrofitted to prevent smoke from passing underneath a fire door.
